Heritage Credit Union to expand

After 44 years in Madison, Heritage Credit Union will be relocating its headquarters to DeForest, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.

CEO Anita Rauch announced plans to double its space and add as many as 50 more employees to support online and mobile banking.

Heritage will build a 50,000-square-foot headquarters on Liuna Way in an existing tax increment district created to attract Mills Fleet Farm, which recently opened.

The new Heritage office and first-floor branch should open in the summer of 2020. The credit union plans to sell its current building at 1212 Huxley St. in Madison.
