Have We Got a Day Planned for You!

If you haven’t yet preregistered for the In Business Expo & Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Alliant Energy Center, be sure to sign up today at MadisonBusinessExpo.com for a memorable day chock-full of activities relevant to your professional life.
We’ll kick off the day with a keynote breakfast featuring economic predictions for 2013. You’ll hear from Jim Glassman, managing director and senior economist for JPMorgan Chase & Co. (based in New York City), as well as Morris Davis, former housing advisor to Alan Greenspan and current academic director of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business. (Make sure you get your ticket; seating is limited!)
For 2012, we’ve also brought aboard more than last year’s 100 vendor booths, and you won’t believe what exhibitors are bringing and/or doing to grab your attention at the free trade show. It won’t be predictable, so come expecting to be delighted.
We are also moving seminars (which are FREE this year!) out of classrooms and onto the trade show stage. You’ll get a chance to “Ask the Experts” your questions on “innovation” as it relates to new technology, bringing products or services to market, advances in HR practices, and trends in sales and marketing. And plan to stop by the wellness seminars, too.
This year, you can also check out the IB Bookstore, presented by Barnes & Noble, and purchase some of today’s best-selling business books. And don’t miss another new event: We’ll announce the winners of the first annual Fittest Executive Challenge at 2:45 p.m. on the Wellness Stage.
We are repeating successes like our popular Business Sustainability Awards program (a ticket is required for that luncheon event – register now!). The 2012 awards show will feature inventor Robert Jordan from Idle Free Systems and will honor area companies that use green business practices you might want to adopt for your business!
After the show, stay for IB Introductions (5:30-7:30 p.m.). It’s more than a chance to network; meet IB Editorial Director Joe Vanden Plas and pitch story ideas for future articles. Make sure to give him your spiel and your card. Joe and I would really love to hear your personal and professional stories, so please make sure to introduce yourself to our staff throughout the day.
It’s a lot to deliver, but along with our partnering sponsors and booth vendors, we promise you a memorable experience on Oct. 17. And it all begins with preregistration at MadisonBusinessExpo.com.
