Ha Long Bay looks to re-open by mid-July

While initially hoping the restaurant could re-open by mid-June, the owners of Ha Long Bay, a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant located at 353 Williamson St., have updated those projections to mid-July following an accident that occurred May 4 when a vehicle crashed into the restaurant causing significant damage to its façade, according to a story in The Capital Times.

Manager Stephanie Le says the restaurant is waiting for the city’s approval of their contractor’s and architect’s plans.

Ha Long Bay is reportedly the fourth building on Williamson Street that has had an accident involving a vehicle.
