Gundersen Lutheran Raises $38 million for Campus Renewal Program
Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse said today it has $38 million in commitments from Gundersen Lutheran medical staff, employees, corporate donors, and private donors at the start of its public capital campaign for a Campus Renewal program.
Gundersen Lutheran, which last year broke ground on a new hospital, is now more than halfway to reaching its $70 million campaign goal. The program includes the new hospital and an inpatient behavioral health building, which is scheduled for completion at the end of 2012.
Dave Skogen, Campus Renewal campaign co-chair, said the campaign now is asking for more support from the broader community.
The project also will provide private rooms for all patients, offering more privacy, and add new technology.
A website has been launched to allow people to make a donation or learn more about the Campus Renewal program. Additional information is available by calling the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation at (608) 775-6600.
