Goodman Community Center providing free child care for staff
The Goodman Community Center, at 214 Waubesa St., will now provide free child care for children over the ages of 3 for all staff, according to a release from the organization. The additional benefit to employees took effect on Sept. 1, the start of the center’s new fiscal year. The Goodman Community Center operates a preschool and 4K program for children ages 3 to 5, as well as an elementary after-school and summer program for children in grades kindergarten through 5. These programs offer scholarships to families who need financial assistance, as well as accept Wisconsin Shares payments. Their Lussier LOFT teen program — for middle and high school students — has always been free for all participants.
