gener8tor goes Hollywood

gener8tor has partnered with Hollywood’s Capitol Music Group on a music technology accelerator. According to a release, the partnership between Capitol’s newly launched innovation center, Capitol360, and gener8tor launches Sept. 6 to provide music-technology startups with mentorship and exclusive access to music industry resources.

Five companies will be selected for participation in gBETA Musictech, a seven-week program at Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood that will pair startups with music industry entrepreneurs, experts, and investors. Three other companies will be able to select which gener8tor city they’d like to participate in, without having to travel to California. Choices include Beloit, Cincinnati, Detroit, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, or Minneapolis.
