Garver Feed Mill to hold open house

In an event made for foodies, 11 new businesses and the restoration of a historic building will be on display Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, as the newly renovated Garver Feed Mill holds an open house.

On those days, Garver will offer tours for visitors who want to meet with the business owners and sample their products. Among the businesses that are Garver tenants are Calliope Ice Cream, Ian’s Pizza, NessAlla Kombucha, Sitka Salmon Shares, and Surya Cafe, a vegan restaurant.

The Nov. 1 program will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m., and on Nov. 2 tours will begin at 9 a.m.

To attend, people must register through Eventbrite at different sites each day. To register for Friday, visit go.madison.com/garver-friday. To register for Saturday, go to go.madison.com/garver-saturday.

The Garver facility is located at 3241 Garver Green, just behind Olbrich Botanical Gardens on Madison’s east side.
