Forbes: Packers the 18th most valuable sports franchise in the world
Forbes magazine published its list of the 50 most valuable sports teams in the world. Soccer rules the roost, with Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Barcelona claiming the top three spots. The New York Yankees, valued at $2.3 billion, came in at number four, and the Dallas Cowboys, valued at $2.1 billion, ranked fifth. Rounding out the top 10 were the New England Patriots, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Washington Redskins, the New York Giants, and Arsenal (soccer). The Green Bay Packers, with an estimated value of $1.16 billion, made the list at number 18.
