Forage Kitchen co-founder to open new restaurant in former Salads UP space
Forage Kitchen and Roast Public House Co-founder Doug Hamaker are opening a restaurant just off State Street that will merge healthy eating and comfort foods, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The restaurant, called Comfort Fuel, will open on Sept. 18 at 439 N. Francis St. in the former Salads UP space.
The menu will include protein açai bowls, sandwiches, a breakfast quesadilla, and more. David Spittel will be the restaurant’s chef and is a minority partner.
The Salads UP space has undergone major renovations in preparation for Comfort Fuel’s opening.
