Fishidy president wins neXXpo live pitch competition

Brian Jensen, president of Madison-based Fishidy, a map-based fishing social network, earned a trip to the Silicon Valley to pitch his company to venture capital firms after withstanding the Pressure Chamber, a live pitch competition for entrepreneurs that was a part of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce’s first neXXpo event. A panel of judges and a text-messaging audience selected Fishidy over four other area businesses: GoStrive, Intuitive Biosciences, OpenHomes, and Thalchemy. Jensen will travel with a chamber delegation and a select group of startup companies to California this summer.
