Feds to lift Associated Bank consent order

A federal consent order issued nearly two years ago relating to Green Bay-based Associated Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Program will be canceled by the end of the first quarter, according to a report in the Milwaukee Business Journal. Associated consented to the order, from the Office of the Comptroller of Currency, to enhance its Bank Secrecy Act practices. The consent order required it to bring the program into full compliance with federal laws.
