Farmers market allowed to return to downtown
After gaining approval from the Street Use Staff Commission, the Dane County Farmers’ Market will return to the Capitol Square on Saturdays and the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Wednesdays, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal. The market has been operating at the Alliant Energy Center during much of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Saturday market hours are 6:15 a.m.–1:45 p.m. through Nov. 13, except Sept. 25 when Art Fair on the Square is scheduled, and 8:30 a.m.– 1:45 p.m. on Wednesdays. Both markets will operate without additional public health restrictions.
