Far Breton Bakery opens in Garver Feed Mill
A pop-up food truck called Far Breton Bakery has begun operating at Garver Feed Mill on the facility’s north patio, according to a statement from the company. Owner Marie Arzel Young has had experience as a professional pastry chef working in several popular restaurants that include L’Etoile, Ovens of Brittany, Samba Brazilian Grill, and Harvest. The bakery-on-wheels business format allows Far Breton Bakery to take its business to markets in Wisconsin, including Madison, Eau Claire, and Menomonie. Far Breton Bakery will be open at Garver every Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. through September and offer butter croissants, sugar buns, and galettes. With the addition of the bakery, Garver is now home to 13 independent, locally owned businesses that specialize in food, hospitality, and health/wellness.
