Exploring the criminal justice system

Leadership Greater Madison 25 members spent their August session learning more about criminal justice, the corrections systems, and the challenges of re-entry after incarceration. Participants learned from prison and DOC officials; listened to inmates’ stories; toured Oakhill Correctional; learned about the challenges of re-entry from local advocates; and ended the day on a lighter note by exploring the success of Just Bakery.
