Exploring Dane County economic trends
Dane County business leaders gathered Dec. 11 for a first look at the results of the 2019 First Business Bank Economic Survey. With 17 years of data from local business leaders in Dane County, the First Business Bank Economic Survey reflects local executives’ assessments of 2019 financial performance and their predictions for 2020. Jim Hartlieb, president of First Business Bank, and Nancy Johnshoy, vice president – portfolio manager and market strategist of First Business Trust & Investments, presented national and regional economic data showing what business leaders are saying about 2019 and 2020 anticipated sales revenue, profitability, number of employees, wages, unused capacity, and more.
