Exact Sciences sells shares

Exact Sciences Corp. will sell 8,500,000 shares of common stock at $15.50 per share to Jefferies LLC, Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., and Canaccord Genuity Inc. as underwriters in an underwritten public offering.

The three companies will also have an option to purchase up to 1,275,000 more shares.

Net proceeds will be used to fund further commercialization of the company’s Cologuard product and fund general corporate and working capital needs. The offering is expected to close on or around August 2.
