Epic continues expansion plans for 5.5-acre underground parking ramp, five new buildings
Epic, which has been expanding its footprint in Verona steadily since 2003, is designing a sixth campus starting with a 5.5-acre, four-story underground parking ramp, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. Plan documents filed with the city of Verona show the parking ramp — expected to be operational in 2025 — will come with 2,050 parking stalls to anchor an anticipated five buildings.
The company plans to release more information about the new campus near the end of August. Epic also hosts an annual multiday conference for users of its medical software around that time where it announces the latest software launches.
At the nearby Wizards Academy cluster, two office buildings under construction are expected to bring a combined 700 private offices and 60,000 square feet of space in 2024. Epic plans the addition of 1,700 new employees in the next year.
The company opened its latest building, Castaway, in late January and is also currently constructing three buildings in the Storybook cluster.
