Embassy Suites proposed for JDS

Beitler Real Estate Services is proposing that the 253-room hotel slated for the massive, $170 million Judge Doyle Square redevelopment project in downtown Madison becomes an Embassy Suites by Hilton brand operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

The proposal will be introduced to the City Council next week and referred to the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center Board and the Finance Committee.

The council could approve the selection at its meeting on Feb. 6.
