Edgerton business owner indicted over alleged tax violations

A federal grand jury in the Western district of Wisconsin has indicted Jeffrey Grams, 43, owner of Rock River Concrete and managing partner of the Braton Property Group in Edgerton, on 11 counts of allegedly failing to account for and pay over to the IRS payroll taxes withheld from employee wages. An IRS investigation found that between April 2008 and January 2010, Grams failed to file quarterly employment tax forms and made no payments to the IRS.

He faces a maximum of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine for each count.
