EatStreet raises $15 million; looks to hire 30 people

Madison-based EatStreet announced it has raised $15 million in outside funding and plans to add 30 employees by the end of January.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the company’s latest round of funding was led by Madison-based 4490 Ventures and Lumia Capital, a San Francisco venture capital firm. In just four years, EatStreet, which supplies restaurants with software for handling online orders, has raised $30 million.

EatStreet also added 100 markets, for a total of 250, marking a 66% increase over 2014. EatStreet now provides more than 15,000 restaurants across the country with 24/7 support, the Journal Sentinel reports. The company currently has 110 employees, and plans to hire 30 more in its customer support area by the end of January.
