East Towne Mall renovation starts

Work is underway on a multimillion dollar renovation of East Towne Mall in Madison that will include a contemporary color palette, new entry doors, some new furniture and soft seating areas, LED lighting, and new flooring.

On the exterior, sections of the parking lot, some skylights, and part of the roof will also be replaced. Work should be completed by the start of the holiday shopping season in November.

Meanwhile, construction of Flix Brewhouse, H&M, and Lucky’s 13 Pub is also underway at the mall. Flix should open by April 1, 2018, while the other two businesses anticipate opening later this year.
