Development to displace Mead Hall

A planned high-rise development on East Washington Avenue will force Bos Meadery and Mead Hall to look for a new location as soon as the end of this year, according to a report from Wisconsin State Journal. The production facility and music venue operating at 849 E. Washington Ave. will be replaced by a high-rise apartment building named Baker’s Place. Until a new location is up and running, the Bos Meadery will produce their product in a shared space in Stoughton. Mead Hall hosts live performances and will continue to book acts, potentially through January, until a closing date is set.
