Developer proposes 315 affordable housing units on Madison’s north side

The Annex Group is proposing a new development on the corner of Wheeler Road and Packers Avenue on the north side of Madison, according to information distributed by the developer.

The Union at Madison project would be built on a 29.2-acre site and include two 60-unit buildings, nine 16-unit buildings, three six-unit buildings, and 33 townhouse units for a total of 315 affordable housing units. The project would also include stormwater storage basins, a community center, and below-grade garage parking.

The developer is currently holding public meetings to gain feedback on the proposal.
