Dane County second in the nation in wage increases

According to the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW), Dane County ranks second in the nation in private-sector wage increases over the past 12 months. The county’s ranking was boosted by increases in areas such as health care, information technology, and education services. The specific window of study was from September 2012 to September 2013.

Most economists consider QCEW reports among the most credible because they collect actual data from 95% of U.S. employers.
