Dane County restaurant, bar capacity increases to 75% next week
Beginning Wednesday, May 5, restaurants and taverns in Dane County will be able to host more indoor diners and drinkers, according to the latest order from Public Health Madison Dane County. The order — Emergency Order No. 16 — will also allow for larger indoor gatherings.
According to the announcement from Public Health Madison Dane County, improving COVID-19 numbers account for the relaxed public gathering restrictions. Capacity limits inside restaurants, taverns, and businesses will increase to 75%; the maximum capacity of indoor gatherings with food and drinks will rise from 150 to 350; and indoor gatherings without food and drink can increase from 350 to 500.
Physical distancing restrictions remain in place indoors, along with an indoor mask mandate for Dane County.
