Dane County Humane Society seeks donations for medical care of rescued cats
According to Channel 3000, the Dane County Humane Society is asking for donations to cover medical costs for around 50 cats rescued from a hoarding situation in Madison. The goal is to raise $7,500 for urgent medical care and vaccinations, among other procedures.
The humane society took in 15 cats last Tuesday; another 22 were found dead at a Madison home, which was declared uninhabitable by the city on Friday before animal services brought the remaining 35 cats to the shelter.
