Contractor allegedly stole from clients

A Madison contractor has been charged with 10 felonies and two misdemeanors in a complaint alleging he stole from clients and left work unfinished, according to Channel3000 report. The complaint detailed charges against Michael Anderson, 59, and alleges multiple clients hired Anderson to build and renovate homes in the Madison area and the work was never completed. Several people claim Anderson had stolen money from them or failed to pay subcontractors, leading to liens being placed on properties. Anderson is expected to make an initial court appearance on May 2, 2022.
