Clinic transition leads to job cuts

Meriter’s WomanCare Clinic at 20 S. Park St. will be transitioning over to a UW Health clinic in a deal agreed to by the two local hospital organizations. As a result, up to a dozen Meriter-UnityPoint employees at the clinic will be replaced by UW staff in July. Some displaced workers may be able to find jobs at Meriter.
