City seeks public input for art initiative

The Madison Arts Commission (MAC) announced it is seeking local public input on the integrated public art component of the new parking structure planned for 2300 S. Park St. and designed by Michael Ford, known as the “Hip Hop Architect.” Ford was asked to create work that would enhance the exterior face and the interior stairwell, and he will seek input on his refined designs by Nov. 7 at noon via a public survey. Public feedback will inform Ford’s final design drawings, which will be submitted for approval to the Community Development Authority and the city.
