City approves Metro Transit plan

After almost 60 public meetings, the Madison Common Council approved the Metro Transit Network Redesign, according to a release by the city. This service redesign will make trips more frequent, routes more straight and direct, reduce issues related to transfers, and make the system easier to use. The plan had been previously amended and passed by the Transportation Policy and Planning Board and passed the council with no further changes.
