Commercial Design Award entries due this month
In Business magazine will unveil its eighth annual Commercial Design Award winners this April in a feature article in the magazine and online. This will be accompanied by an awards ceremony in early April (details coming soon). The awards will once again honor the best in commercial architecture and design throughout the State of Wisconsin during the past year.
For a commercial design project to be considered for an award, it must meet these guidelines:
■ Completed between Jan. 1, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2014
■ Built and located in Wisconsin
■ Designed primarily by a company based in one of the following counties: Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Rock, or Sauk (additional design input from companies outside of these counties is allowed)
(Continued)
There are eight categories to consider, including renovation projects and new developments. All submissions will be considered for the “Project of the Year,” which will be featured on the cover of the April issue. Judging will once again be handled by a panel of design/architecture experts. You can get all of the award details and download the application form online at IBMadison.com/CDA.
As a small independent business publication, we can’t possibly keep up to date on all of the great commercial design projects going on throughout the state, so we do rely on you, our readers, to keep us informed and to nominate projects. The deadline to enter is Jan. 30, so please act fast if you’d like to be considered for this prestigious award.
