Central States Association Spring Seminar held in Madison

Wisconsin’s worker’s compensation system, long regarded as a model for its stability and effectiveness for the benefit of workers and employers, will take center stage when the Central States Association hosts its annual Spring Seminar from June 8–9 at the Madison Concourse Hotel.

The seminar will bring together industry professionals from across the central United States to discuss a variety of topics such as modernization, change management, medical trends, compliance, and other issues affecting worker’s compensation.

The seminar will be moderated by Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Worker’s Compensation Division Administrator Steven Peters, who is the current Central States Association president. The association includes jurisdictional workers’ compensation agencies from the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
