Cellular Dynamics changes structure

CDI in Madison (now owned by Fujifilm Holdings Corp.) has split into two separate business units.

The Therapeutics unit, led by Emile Nuwaysir, CDI president and COO, will focus on the development of stem cell-based drugs.

The Life Science division will focus on research products and be headed by Bruce Novich, executive VP and general manager, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

The company will remain at 525 Science Drive and add staff as necessary. CDI also has a California office with about 24 employees.
