CBD store opens in downtown Stoughton
Extolling the health benefits of CBD oil, a local trio has opened Midwest Best CBD at 183 W. Main St., although they have been selling their brand of CBD oil online for more than a year, according to an article in the Stoughton Courier Hub.
Co-owner Joree Ketelsen, her husband Stephen Ketelsen, and their business partner Bryan Heins say a number of people in their lives suffer from various health conditions, and so promoting the health benefits of CBD oil is more than a business venture, it’s a passion project.
In Wisconsin, CBD oil must have less than .3 percent of THC, a main psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, a negligible amount that does not have intoxicating effects. Most CBD oil is derived from industrial hemp rather than marijuana.
