Catalent planning expansion

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Madison is planning a $34 million expansion of its west Madison operation, adding 22,000 square feet and creating as many as 102 new jobs.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC) assisted, offering up to $1 million in state tax credits over the next three years contingent on the company’s level of capital investment in Madison, according to a release.

Catalent, headquartered in New Jersey, is a global provider of drug delivery technologies and development solutions. The planned expansion will double the number of jobs here.
