Build-to-rent housing development underway in Sun Prairie

Arlington Heights, Illinois-based Heyday has launched pre-leasing of its first Wisconsin build-to-rent community featuring single-story, single-family attached rental homes in Sun Prairie, according to a news release. With expected deliveries beginning late spring/early summer, Heyday Sun Prairie is designed to offer residents all the benefits of single-family style living without the responsibilities of home ownership.

Heyday Sun Prairie is located at the intersection of Egre Road and N. Bird Street in Sun Prairie. The development offers rental homes featuring attached garages for every unit that include high-speed EV charging outlets among other amenities.

Co-founded by UW–Madison alum Josh Wohlreich, Heyday has additional projects planned in Wisconsin, including Heyday Oak Creek, which will feature 130 single-family attached rental homes available in late 2024.
