Brookfield software developer Connecture raises another $20M

Connecture, Inc., a Brookfield software designer, says it has raised another $20 million from private investment firms, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The company, which develops software for the health insurance industry, will receive $18 million from Green Point Partners LLC, a private investment firm based in Connecticut. Another $2 million will come from Chrysalis Ventures, a Louisville, Ky.-based venture capital firm, the report said.

Connecture’s software products are marketed to individuals and small employers, and its customers include Dean Health Plan and WPS Health Plan. It also has secured subcontracts to help build state health care exchanges established under the Affordable Care Act.

The injection of additional capital will enable the company to add to its staff of 250 people in Brookfield and Atlanta.
