BrightStar invests in two Madison companies

BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation Inc. will invest in three Wisconsin early-stage companies, including two in Madison, bringing to 52 the number of BrightStar investments in state companies.

BrightStar announced that it has completed a $100,000 investment in AssuredLeads Inc., a sales-as-a-service platform for commercial insurance agents, brokers, and carriers. The funding will enable AssuredLeads to execute a hiring plan to drive future growth.

The Foundation also announced the completion of a $50,000 investment in Curate Solutions Inc., whose primary product is a document-reading technology to help businesses scan through municipal records to quickly find information relevant to them.

BrightStar also has invested $100,000 in Arbré Technologies Inc., a horticulture business that employs software and radio-frequency identification (RFID) to address inventory efficiency, visibility, and traceability problems.
