Boston, Inc. may purchase American TV building

Stevens Point-based Boston, Inc., a large independent furniture and appliance retailer that operates stores in central and northern Wisconsin under the names Ashley Furniture and Appliance & Furniture Mart, is reportedly interested in purchasing the building recently vacated by American TV on Madison’s west Beltline. A real estate group connected to Boston, Inc. has submitted a $4.6 million bid for the 7.2-acre property in bankruptcy court.
