Best colleges for money: UW in top 50
Money magazine published its annual Best Colleges For Your Money ranking and UW–Madison came in at number 48 overall, out of 727 schools ranked.
While the magazine had plenty of nice things to say about the university, it wasn’t enough to catch the top ranked school, Princeton University, which costs $67,700 per year (without financial aid) and has an average student debt of $7,500. UW, in contrast, costs $26,300 according to the latest report, and has an average student debt of $22,300.
Among public universities, UW–Madison fared better, at No. 30.
