BD Diagnostics to close Monona location

BD Diagnostics Systems will permanently close its Monona location by March 2014 as the company moves its operations to a facility in Maryland. Beginning at the end of August and continuing through March 2014, the company will lay off 104 employees, with supervisors and plant managers remaining several weeks longer to decommission the building.
