Badgers’ game canceled amid positive team COVID-19 tests

The University of Wisconsin football team will not be heading to Nebraska to take on the Cornhuskers this Saturday due to several positive COVID-19 tests, according to a statement from the team.

UW is pausing football activities for at least seven days because the team has surpassed the thresholds set by the Big Ten Conference to practice or play games. Coach Paul Chryst tested positive as well and will isolate for 10 days before returning to in-person coaching.
