Badgerland Financial now Compeer Financial

Three Farm Credit organizations — Badgerland Financial, Farm Credit Services, and AgStar Financial Services — merged on July 1 to create Compeer Financial.

Compeer’s headquarters is located in Sun Prairie, and each organization’s existing office will continue to provide local service, according to a release.

The combined company will have 47 offices in 144 counties throughout Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

With the merger in place, Compeer now has nearly 50,000 clients and $18.6 billion in assets.
