ATF offers $5K reward in Duck Pond arson probe
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the Oct. 17 arson at the Madison Mallards baseball stadium in Madison.
While investigating the fire scene, authorities recovered a unique LED camping lantern near the scene that may belong to the suspect or suspects, according to the ATF. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying who might have owned or recently purchased the lantern, as well as any other information related to events leading up to or immediately after the fire, which caused an estimated $150,000 in damage.

The reward is offered in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Office of the State Fire Marshal, and Madison Police and Fire Departments.
