Armed man robs Marshall liquor store, shoots at responding authorities 

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, a man held up Marshall liquor store Caps and Cork on Wednesday night and then fled the scene, shooting at the authorities attempting to arrest him.

The assailant robbed the store at 518 Plaza Dr. just before 7:45 p.m. and got into a physical altercation with the clerk. He fired a single round at one of the responding officers as he fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Multiple law enforcement agencies subsequently responded to the scene and found the man in a residential area around 9 p.m.
