AmFam hires Jeter as new ambassador

Derek Jeter, retired Yankees shortstop, has been hired by American Family Insurance to be its newest “brand ambassador” according to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Madison-based insurance company will partner with the baseball great on advertising and other opportunities as he moves toward enshrinement in the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020.

Jeter joins other AmFam brand ambassadors including Steve Stricker, Russell Wilson, Kevin Durrant, Jessie Vetter, J.J. Watt, and Kathy Ireland.
