Airbnb delivers

Airbnb, a global community-driven hospitality company, delivered $2.5 million in home-sharing tax revenue in its first year after reaching a tax agreement with the state of Wisconsin.

Airbnb collects 5% state sales tax automatically, which gets remitted directly to the state. Over 4,900 Wisconsin residents now share their Wisconsin homes through Airbnb, according to a release.
