A peek inside Summit’s new HQ
Summit Credit Union unveiled its new headquarters facility and campus on March 4. Leaders of Madison-area businesses, the Madison and Cottage Grove chambers of commerce, and the larger credit union community attended the event, which included tours of the new 152,000-square-foot, six-story building and its facilities. The new building features improved workspaces for employees, highlighted by eco-friendly flooring and lighting. There is also a 17,500-gallon rainwater harvest cistern to capture and reuse rainwater, as well as electric car chargers for Summit employees and members. Outdoor recreational spaces, including sand volleyball courts and a bike path, will also be available. Designed by Madison-based architecture firm Strang Inc., construction of the building by J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. began in October 2017. The new Cottage Grove campus, located at 1709 Landmark Drive, officially opens on Monday, April 1, and includes a full-service Summit branch.
