Propeller Health refill app serves more pharma chains
The pharmacy refill app of Propeller Health, a Madison-based digital health company, can now be used to place orders in five of the nation’s seven largest pharmacy chains, according to an article in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Propeller Health’s app has expanded from Walgreen’s pharmacies to include those of CVS, Kroger, Rite-Aid, and Walmart. These five chains account for more than half of U.S. market share for prescription drugs.
The company’s sensor and software products help people with asthma and lung disease manage their medications. Founded in 2010, it now is part of ResMed, a publicly traded medical device company in San Diego. Propeller Health employs 74 people in Madison.
