Kohl Center expansion announced

The University of Wisconsin athletic department announced plans to expand the Kohl Center. The three-story, 42,000-square-foot expansion will more than double athlete services areas, expanding facilities for academics, sports medicine, and strength and conditioning, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The university hopes to start construction in about a year and complete it in 2023.

The news follows an earlier announcement from UW to renovate Camp Randall stadium by the 2021 home football season. That project will add premium seating, renovate the press box, and replace the FieldTurf for a price tag of just over $77.6 million.

So the UW is supposed to stop investing their business because others the president and social programs are failing. Ok, good strategy.
